Times of the Academy Day

Lesson One	8:40am - 9:40am
Lesson Two	9:40am - 10:40am
Form Time	10:40am - 11:00am
Break	11:00am - 11:15am
Lesson Three	11:15am - 12:15pm
Lunch / Lesson Four	12:15pm - 1:45pm
Lesson Five	1:45pm - 2:45pm

The Academy day is split into 5 one hour long lessons as outlined above. Students also have 20 minutes of form time, a 15 minutes morning break and a 30 minutes lunch time. Due to the fact that Lesson One starts the day at 8:40am is is important that students arrive at the Academy on time so that they do not miss any lesson time.

Lunch is split into 3 different sittings. These are outlined below.

Year 8 & 10 have Lunch 12:15 - 12:45.
Year 8 & 10 have Lesson Four - 12:45 - 1:45.

Year 7 have Lesson Four A 12:15 - 12:45.
Year 7 have Lunch 12:45 - 1:15.
Year 7 have Lesson Four B 1:15 - 1:45.

Year 9 & 11 have Lesson Four 12:15 - 1:15.
Year 9 & 11 have Lunch 1:15 - 1:45.

Term Dates

Autumn Term

Start: Monday 6th September 2021 (Inset Day).
Half Term: Monday 25th to Friday 29th October 2021.
End: Friday 17th December 2021.

Spring Term

Start: Tuesday 4th January 2022.
Half Term: Monday 21st February to Friday 25th February 2022.
End: Friday 8th April 2022 (Inset Day).

Summer Term

Start: Monday 25th April 2022.
Half Term: Monday 30th May to Friday 3rd June 2022.
End: Friday 22nd July 2022.
