Trips & Visits

At Pegasus Academy we run a range of trips and visits throughout the year.  Some of these are curriculum based and add a new dimension to learning that is not possible in the classroom e.g. Year 7 visited Ludlow Castle as part of their L4L curriculum and GCSE Geography students visited Carding Mill Valley in Shropshire to look at the physical Geography.

We are proud to have a first class careers programme that is complemented by visits to local employers, post 16 training providers and also higher education establishments.  Students also visit the Skills Show, the nations largest skills and careers event that helps to shape future generation.

Visits and Trip play a big part in the rewards system at Pegasus Academy, and in the last year students have visited the Pantomime at the Grand Theatre in Wolverhampton, Alton Towers, Drayton Manor and the cinema amongst other places.

The Academy also runs a range of international trips, and in the last year students visited Barcelona with their sports studies and MFL group, and the now annual ski trip to Italy was enjoyed by a large number of students.
