Distance Learning - Year 7 & 8

Year 7 & 8 learners are expected to work from home following the attached timetable. Each session is one hour in length. Learners will need access to the following programmes. Login information has been issue to all learners at school before the closure. This information can be found in learner’s planners. Year 7 - Badminton

TASK 1 : Draw a diagram of the badminton court and label it. Find out and list 5 ways that you can score points when playing badminton.*

TASK 2:  Using the court markings for badminton, design 3 small pulse raising activities that you could use as a warm up for your lesson. Make it fun, competitive and original. **

TASK 3:  Choose 5 fitness components that would be important for a badminton player and state when it would be used within a match. How could a badminton improve their fitness levels and what impact would it have on their health AND performance. ***
