Outlined on this page is the process we intend to follow this year if your child is absent from the Academy for an extended period due to Covid-19.

To avoid any disruption to learning we have put in place a simple online system to support them. In essence, we will be running a parallel online curriculum for learners to follow which will be available on our Learning Gateway and updated each week. This means that work that is currently being studied in lessons will also be available for learners to complete at home.

All the resources and links needed can be found by clicking on the link to RM Unify below and then following the link to the learner's year group. Learners will need to log into RM Unify using the same details they would use to access computers in the Academy. All learners will have been shown how to access this in lessons.

Distance Learning Timetable

Whilst absent from the Academy learners are expected to follow their normal Academy timetable as closely as possible and complete the work for their subjects on the relevant day. All learners should have a copy of their timetable in their learner planner. All work completed should be returned to the class teachers for marking and feedback.
